The only strength test is in the validation on join.php.

Ok, if (big if) I was to have time to do this, I was thinking I could just make a separate file that could be included on join.php to provide this functionality. Then, if you guys like it, you could incorporate the code "deeper" into UserSpice in a way that goes with how you've got things currently organized.

Sound good?
