I would love to see an event calendar added to US in the future Smile

I have one based on google calendar, but it's really a pain to explain how to get the right API keys from google to do it.

I really don't want to be dependent on Google for anything. I was thinking more along the lines of you creating your own event calendar function to become part or User Spice.

Something that shows a calendar to visitors/users and where you as an admin can add (recurring and sporadic) events to which users can register through their account. And where you can keep them up to date about the events they have registered for (through e-mail).

Yoyo is working on something: https://userspice.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=1313

And Jamezs was working on something: https://userspice.com/forums/showthread....t=calendar

Yeah. If they have something like that I would be interested in converting it to a plug-in so it could be installed easily.
